The House of Wedding Venues · Est. 2026
How Bidwell works.
You describe the wedding once. Verified venues answer with binding offers inside a fixed window, and you read them side by side on identical rows. Names stay sealed until you shortlist.
Free for couples · Verified venues · Binding offers
In short
Three things to know before you start.
- Describe the wedding once. Verified venues come to you with binding offers — locked prices, itemised inclusions.
- Read every offer on the same rows. Names stay sealed until you shortlist, so you weigh the wedding before the brand.
- Book on your own timeline. Couples never pay Bidwell.
The mechanism
A semi-blind reverse auction, in plain terms.
Venues see your request but never each other's offers, and they answer inside a fixed window. While you compare, each offer shows its price, inclusions, capacity, setting, and a Bidwell House fit score. The name, gallery, and address open up the moment you shortlist.
It is not a race to the bottom. Published rate cards stay whole — venues compete by layering in what they already have, such as extended hours, a premium bar package, or the ceremony lawn. The lowest number doesn’t win. The right fit does.
Like a blind audition: you judge the offer before you know whose name is on it.
Start to finish
Six steps, in order.
Describe the wedding
Date window, guest count, setting, and what you had in mind to spend. About five minutes, and it costs nothing.
Venues answer in writing
Verified venues whose rooms actually fit return binding offers inside a fixed window — locked prices, itemised inclusions.
Read them on the same rows
Every offer arrives in one format, so hours, bar package, and ceremony site are all accounted for before you compare.
Bidwell House reads with you
It scores each offer for value and completeness, benchmarks it against comparable rooms, and answers questions in plain English.
Shortlist to open the names
Shortlist up to five and their names, galleries, reviews, and messaging open up. Tour only the spaces you already want to see.
Book direct, on locked terms
Accepting an offer makes the price and the inclusions contractual. Your agreement is with the venue.

Questions
Everything else you might be wondering.
Nothing, at any point. You never pay Bidwell to post a request, compare offers, or book. Venues pay a commission, and only after an event is confirmed. There are no paid tiers.
